James Greig is a graphic designer, writer and rider of bicycles, and currently leads the digital team at Graphical House.
Trained at Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, James has worked as a digital designer for studios in Glasgow and London including Bureau for Visual Affairs, Wolff Olins and MultiAdaptor. Working primarily with clients in the cultural and fashion sectors — including Tate, Guggenheim, Mackintosh and Topshop — James has clocked up two decade's experience creating content-rich digital experiences for screen and beyond.
Since 2012, his design work has been augmented by hands on experience of content strategy and creation, gleaned from running two successful blogs. James has given presentations at events including Creative Mornings and Lifetime Value Conference, and his writing has been published by 99U, Lifehacker and Hacker News Monthly amongst others. He also teaches 7 Things You Should Do Before Going Freelance, a free course for anyone considering self-employment.
